Then, start over with house breaking as if Tilly was a pup. Maybe even have Tilly's mom keep Tilly leashed to her - at all times, so she can watch her and learn what signs she makes that she has to 'go.'

Good luck. I am afraid if they do not ask us, we might "go potty" inside. If no one is home then we are crated.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08543148122748744007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1201676856227057678.post-7652988261444602242011-04-09T18:50:59.899-07:002011-04-09T18:50:59.899-07:00We don't go outside to pee or poo. It's either training Tilly to ring the bell to go outside or set up a pee tray in the house for her.Diana Chiewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07644338153197830354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1201676856227057678.post-91233408377675813222011-04-09T11:48:36.097-07:002011-04-09T11:48:36.097-07:00Frankie Furter's idea about the timer is a goo...Frankie Furter's idea about the timer is a good one!Cara n Crewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14109485377803864004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1201676856227057678.post-76535570190509821942011-04-09T11:46:52.189-07:002011-04-09T11:46:52.189-07:00ah, poor Tilly and Tilly's Mama! Set up a schedule, take her out frequently, reward when she does the right thing, and when she needs to be left alone or even just can't be watched when mama isn't around, confine her to an area that is either to small of a space for her to go (like a crate) or an area with flooring that would be easy to clean in case Tilly did have an accident. Most importantly remember Tilly can't help it! Good luck!

Purrs,
Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, and Hollie
ps. it might not be a bad idea to have Tilly checked by a V-E-T to be sure her accidents aren't medically related.Cara n Crewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14109485377803864004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1201676856227057678.post-4726300939645197772011-04-09T11:09:52.983-07:002011-04-09T11:09:52.983-07:00A bell attached to the door frame that is of a hei...A bell attached to the door frame that is of a height for "Tilly" to ring with her foot or nose. She can learn to ring the bell, then go outside, and pretty sure will learn that ringing the bell gets her outside, giving her the chance to go potty without anyone getting upset.

Stopping by from the Blog Hop.K-Koirahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01933780350863090595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1201676856227057678.post-58386917977616614312011-04-09T10:31:30.011-07:002011-04-09T10:31:30.011-07:00Well Tilly sounds like she's trying hard! Must be from some other blog, though. RIGHT?
Well, this is a tough one fur sure. I agree with the other commenter... best to check with the VET... to be sure there is not kidney infection or somethingy like that going on. And THEN... if it is pawsible... set a timer and have someone take TILLY out every hour.
I know some peeps train with a BELL tied to the door. Tilly could learn to ring the bell when she wants out.
I kinda go potty on a schedule. It took me about 2 months to learn that. Now... Pooof.. when my mom sings the Pee song... I just do it. Diapers! At first I used modified baby diapers, but then I bought nice dog diapers. They look like jean shorts. We have been using the diapers for a few weeks now and NO ACCIDENTS!! If you want to see pics of them and other info just check out Tibby's blog.Kiyi Kiyihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08318930293008856026noreply@blogger.com
