Hi everyone! Please welcome Theresa Guerrero, who asked if she could do a short guest post on why she likes watching animal shows on TV.
"Animals are my favorite things in the world. They are alive. They are living and breathing creatures each with its own set of hearts, lungs and brain. The only issue with owning an animal is the cost. They have to be fed, cleaned up after and maintained. Don't get me wrong, having a pet is a great idea. But can you really afford or do you have the time for 10 different pets? In a perfect world I'd have every type of pet I ever wanted. This obviously isn't possible! This is why I love animal shows. They let me relax and enjoy a pet without actually owning one.
I watch all of my animal shows on my expert Satellite TV. It gives me clear picture and gives me plenty of choices when it comes to choosing what show I want to watch. One of my favorites on TV nowadays is known as Pets 101. In pets 101 the hosts, which consist of a small group of extremely well versed and famous pet owners talk about pets and what makes them special. One of the hosts is the head veterinarian for the ASPCA, which is a large group. There are more specific types of Pets 101, such as Dogs or Cats 101. Those shows only showcase dogs or cats while others show off pretty much any type of pet imaginable."
Thanks, Theresa! We like animal shows too. We especially like the ones where animals are being rescued, like Animal Heroes. What are your favorite animal shows?

Actually we enjoy the Cats 101 and the Dogs 101, but we don't like any shows where animals get hurt.
