Question About The New Ads

Hi everyone! We wanted to ask you a question.
Our Mama put some ads on our blog. She says, if we can get paid for ads on our blog, we can save up money to go to BlogPaws. (By we, she means her, and maybe Lily. Trixie and Sammy-Joe are not good traveling partners.) We think the ads on the bottom of the page are cool. They're not bothering anyone. But we are not sure about the ads that are right here in the blog posts. Do you see them? The double underlined words? They are links that we did not put there. When you roll your mouse over them, they show you ads. You can tell them apart from the real links that we put there, because the real links have only one underline and are a different color.
Do you like them? Or do you think they are really annoying? We want you to take a vote.
Mama says if you don't like them, and if you think you won't come to this blog because of them, she will take them away.
As for the ads at the bottom of this page... underneath the map... we want you to click on them! If you can. We get paid for you clicking on them! And if Mama can get enough money from those ads, she can go to BlogPaws.
Please tell us your vote about the in-text ad thingies. Should they stay or should they go? Do you like them, hate them, or don't care?
Okay. That is all.
We also wanted to tell you that our Mama was hungry for sugar cookies, but she didn't have enough ingredients. So she just mixed some flour, butter and sugar in a bowl and started eating it. She said it was gross, and she threw it away... but now she has a tummy ache.
Weird Mama. Right?
Bye!

Well, the ads themselves don't bother us, but we keep getting pop up ads that we don't care for, and for some reason, your page loads really slowly for us.

Didn't get any pop-up ads for us, maybe it depends on the browser being used - or settings - don't know...
Boy do we hear you about wanting to go to BlogPaws!! Maybe we should go sell some candy bars or something BOL Better yet, sell some bones!!
Mom gets the cravings and does weird stuff too. Hope yours feel better!

Nope, doesn't bother us at all. Sugar cookie batter, eh? Did that help curb the craving? We've been known to give in to those when they come a-calling (which is often!) Especially for choclate...I've been known to dip into the baking chips when there's no other chocolate around. Yes, I'll admit it! Desperate times call for desperate measures and all...!

I don't see your ads at all because I have ad blockers installed on my browser... it's how I prefer it.

What I tend to dislike about ads on dog blogs is that too often, ads for online puppymills come up. I know the blogger usually doesn't have control over these things, but it's one reason I personally don't think ads should be on blogs.

It's each person's choice though! And if more of us could get paid to write about our special dogs, all the better. =)

I didn't notice any underlined words while here, but I did get a pop-up. Mommy says ads help pay for the site, so they're OK with me. I'll be sure to visit again!

Woofs & hugs!

The ads at the bottom don't bother us at all and we don't see the pop-up ads. However, your blog is very slow for us too.

Hmm, I don't see any underlined words. You should be careful though about adsense (I saw you have some there), they say you shouldn't ask people to click on them, or they could cancel your account.

Hiya! I do not mind the ads and if it gets some of you Awesomes to BlogPaws then go for it! I love your site and wild horses could not keep me away. Mostly because I like wild horses :)

We just send a comment but didn't think it went. We have never noticed the ads before and if you get extra money, go for it! Lots of love, Holly and mom

I've been hesitant to put Adsense on my blog because I want a degree of control over what my blog is promoting. I'm interested to see how the addition of ads affects your blog. Please let us know how it goes.

Hiya...I see the underlined words, but I try to be pretty careful with what I click on, so they don't bother me. I did get a pop-up though when I visited your site. Good luck!

We did get a pop-up ad, but it won't stop us from visiting you! We have BlogHer ads and Project Wonderful, and we use the monies to pay for my outfits and also donate some.
