When you think of a headboard, do you think of something that is pretty basic and boring? It doesn't have to be! A unique headboard can make your bedroom a whole new place.
The first thing you have to decide on is the size of your headboard... which should match the size of your mattress. The biggest size would be a king. A queen sized bed is a little smaller than that, but still gives you lots of sleeping space. Full sized beds are fifteen inches wider than twin beds, and are now often used by children and teenagers instead of twin beds.
Next, you need to choose your style of headboard. Our Mama loves the idea of a bookcase headboard. You can store books and other items on the shelves, saving storage space in a small room. Perfect for someone who loves to read before bed! Other choices include upholstered headboards, which are covered in fabric to give the bed an extra comfy look and feel; and sleigh headboards, which are curvy and decorative.
At More Headboards, you can find all of these headboards and others to! What a great way to start designing your own bed.

Yes i agree with you a headboard is part of a bed without it no bed is complete. The headboard is to help keep pillows in place while the bed is in use.
